When JLARC needed to make recommendations to the Legislature about how to prioritize facility needs for all the higher education institutions throughout the state, they chose to work with MENG Analysis. We performed a survey of the facility conditions and deficiencies, and developed the database that is still being used to maintain the facility condition information. Our study provides a framework for ongoing preservation reporting, management and budgeting.
In total, 66 actual facility condition assessments were conducted, totaling over 3.9 million square feet. This information was extrapolated out to prioritize nearly 2,500 facilities totaling over 52 million square feet.
