In this case, the Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) was
intended to provide a more in-depth study
of one of its Value Analysis
proposals. Specifically, MENG Analysis
analyzed a proposal for the mechanical system of a proposed new 39,000
square foot community center. The results of the
LCCA demonstrated that the
proposed system had significant cost advantages both from a first cost and
life cycle cost standpoint, and, at the same time, would provide better
performance.
