This project constructs a new library in the location of the existing library and incorporates the existing basement of the original 1962 building. The existing building will be utilized for a new media center. The project is of steel frame construction with masonry veneer. The existing building will be reclad with stucco or metal panels. New mechanical systems will provide heating an cooling using the existing campus hot water distribution system and new DX air conditioning units located on the roof of the new building.
