MENG Analysis performed a review of the Zebra Mussel Controls project in the upstate watersheds. The value engineering team, including numerous specialists, was charged with reviewing the short term, interim, and long-term action plan with a particular emphasis on the risk analysis for the project. In addition to reviewing the risk basis for the project, the purpose of this study was to explore alternative methods for Zebra Mussel controls and alternative design proposals for specific components of the control project. The team made significant positive discoveries in a challenging new area during the process, thanks to our creative, multi-discipline process.
