MENG Analysis led an Eco-Charette with the owner and design team to incorporate sustainable design elements into the facility. This was a Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol (WSSP) Pilot Project for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction. MENG Analysis Eco-Workshops are a dynamic method to identify opportunities and, at the same time, satisfy the requirements of the proposed new WSSP requirements that were specifically developed for K-12 schools in Washington State.  WSSP was tailored through the appropriate modifications from the US Green Building Council's LEED standards and the California High Performance Schools Protocol (CHPS).
