PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This new high school replaced the existing classroom portables and district warehouse.
Phase 1 work consists of completing site demolition, relocating portables (by others), constructing a storm water pond, performing trail improvements, and adding on-site required parking lots. Phase 2 includes new building structure, associated site work, and the Public Facilities Contract work (right of way street improvements).

The structural system includes a steel structure on concrete foundation with limited
auger cast pile foundations. Exterior finishes include storefront and curtain wall, metal
siding, cement board, and exposed concrete. Roofing is both metal and membrane
with green roof area. Interiors include standard floor, wall, and ceiling finishes with
casework, specialties and equipment. The mechanical system is a two pipe VAV
system, with gas fired boilers, and ventilation cooling. Also included is light industrial HVAC in support of CTE and science spaces; the building is fully sprinklered.

Electrical includes a 480/277 volt service. LED fixtures are proposed for both interior and exterior lighting. Site development includes new parking, storm water system with detention pond, water and sewer connections, landscaping and hardscapes, and off-site roadway
improvements.
