PROJECT DESCRIPTION

MENG Analysis provided Value Analysis (VA), Constructability Review (CR) and Commissioning (Cx) services for this Middle School replacement project. Commissioning included the rooftop gas-pack unit based HVAC system, domestic hot water, automatic lighting controls, electrical distribution & metering, and building automation (DDC) control system. Commissioning of the new Middle School built on lessons learned from the adjacent La Conner Elementary School addition & modernization project completed prior to the new Middle School project.

One of the challenges of the new Middle School was interfacing the packaged Aaon rooftop unit factory controls with the contractor installed Alerton DDC system; MENG Analysis worked proactively with the Mechanical Contractor, Equipment Supplier, Control Contractor and Owner to resolve this issue.
