PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) engaged MENG Analysis to conduct facility condition assessments (FCA) of the South King Complex (SKC) in Kent, WA and the Shuffleton Site in Renton, WA. MENG Analysis also provided a seismic report ASCE 41-13 and a natural/geological hazard risk assessment.

The SKC includes a large 279,166 square foot building and storage yards on site. SKC is an integral site for PSE and supports multiple functions including office, engineering, warehousing and distribution, equipment repair shops, and light vehicle maintenance shops.

The Shuffleton Site includes an 18,194 SF one-story operations building, and several other small ancillary storage buildings. The goals of these FCAs were to facilitate proactive asset management, produce meaningful condition, and cost data that can support strategic planning and budgeting.
